COLOUR CODING EASTER

Schedule has meant I am away for most of Easter. I started off in Castigno Villa, which is more a village than villa, the owner (ex banker and his interior designer wife) having turned it into a wine coloured place on the top of a hill village called Assignan.  I like pink and colours which pop and it was one of the few places I've visited where the vividness of the decor matched my yoga colours.   Interesting place. Although its a bit like gilding a rose.

Then to Les Meuniers, the gateway to Les Trois Vallees, a purpose built ski resort which was holding a yoga week. It was much more than that, offering not only yoga amidst the mountains and under a very strong sun (I got burnt doing sun salutation ironically, or perhaps appropriately), but also pilates, qi gong, sophrology (relaxation therapy), and shiatsu.  The best is ironically the walks in the snow. You can make your own headspace app just by being there, walking in the snow, past the waterfalls, along the rivers and streams, listening to the birds and breathing in the sweet clean air, feeling the powerful energy of the mountains.  Forget the apps, this is the real thing.
